We've been asked many times now, "How does it feel to start a new company during this economy?" Our answer is always something like "it's great but very challenging". That answer isn't intended to be as boring as it sounds but we can't fake it. Sure, we could have picked a better time to start but the time picked us--we didn't pick it. As the creators of the NeverFlat™ technology used in the best-selling basketball in the US, it would have been perfectly reasonable to sit back and take it easy.
